CRAB PASTIES

WHITE BREAD    (FRENCH STICK) half a large stick

8OZS MIXED CRABMEAT (250GRAMS)

2OZS  60GRAMS SPRING ONIONS FINELY CHOPPED

LIGHT SOYA SAUCE

S+P

OIL

PUFF PASTRY (I USED ONE PACK OF PRE ROLLED)

MILK

Make b’crumbs.

Put into bowl with crabmeat, spring onions and mix together.

Bind with olive oil and the light soya sauce

Roll out the pastry and cut into 4” rounds should make min of 12

Brush with milk

Spoon crab mixture into middle

Make into pasty shape

Crinkle top and brush with milk

Cook at 200C or gas mark 6 approx 20 mins.

 

Note: I used pre rolled puff pastry and rolled it out to be a little thinner.

The mixture will make more than 12 of the 4” rounds.
